Scope & date

This notice describes data processing when visiting montfortsystems.at and publicly accessible subdomains, particularly sellerops.montfort-systems.at, when using the project check and when submitting contact or support enquiries. Personal data is processed only for the stated purposes. Updated: 6 September 2026.

Website access & security

Technically necessary connection data is processed when you access the website. This may include IP address, date and time, requested URL or file, referrer, browser and device information, operating system, data volume, response status and security signals.

The purpose is to provide the website securely, stably and reliably, including protection against misuse and attacks. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest is the secure operation of this information service.

Protection includes encrypted transmission, restrictive browser policies, access controls, rate limits and secure defaults. The public website and internal applications are separate. Further documented principles are described under Security & privacy .

Hosting & recipients

The public websites at montfortsystems.at and sellerops.montfort-systems.at are provided through Cloudflare Workers using static website files. The provider is Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, California 94107, USA. Cloudflare processes IP addresses, traffic routing data, system configuration and other technically necessary connection and security information. Where Cloudflare processes this data on our behalf, the following applies: Cloudflare Data Processing Addendum.

Cloudflare states that data is processed primarily in the USA and the European Economic Area. For transfers from the EEA to the USA, Cloudflare relies on certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and, where that basis does not apply, on EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Hosting retention periods

Montfort Systems does not create personal visitor profiles through the hosting provider and has not activated web analytics. Connection and security data is processed only as long as necessary for delivery, error analysis and protection against specific security risks. It is then deleted or anonymised in accordance with contractual settings and requirements, unless a legal obligation or investigation of a security incident requires longer retention. For customer personal data, the Cloudflare Data Processing Addendum generally provides for return or deletion after the contract ends.

Contact enquiries

When you contact us, the contact, communication and project details you voluntarily provide are processed to handle your enquiry and follow-up questions. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual steps or a contract, and otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on our legitimate interest in appropriate business communication.

Email communication uses easyname GmbH, Canettistraße 5/10, 1100 Vienna, as a technical service provider. Enquiries are generally deleted six months after final handling. If a contract is concluded or statutory retention or evidence obligations apply, the relevant data is retained for the applicable statutory period or until potential claims expire.

Initial SellerOps enquiries

On sellerops.montfort-systems.at, the initial enquiry link only prepares an email in your own email application. The website itself does not receive any form details through this action. Contact and enquiry data is transmitted only when you deliberately send the email; the contact enquiry provisions apply.

Real customer files are not accepted through the public website or by email. A separately agreed transfer method is provided only after the engagement and privacy arrangements are clarified. Initial enquiries should not include attachments, exports, credentials or personal data unnecessary for the enquiry, particularly buyer, address, payment or staff data.

Project check, support & security reports

The assessment and optional estimate in the project check initially take place locally in your browser. Details are transmitted only when the person making the enquiry explicitly initiates submission. If the direct ticket connection is available, the name, organisation, email address, optional phone number, subject, description, project brief, priority and technical source of the enquiry are stored in the internal ticket system. A ticket number, processing status, messages and change log are maintained.

To protect against automated misuse, a non-reversible verification value is generated server-side from the IP address required for the connection. The IP address itself is not stored as a ticket field. No external CAPTCHA, analytics or advertising services are used. If the direct ticket connection is unavailable, only an email in your own email application is prepared; transmission then occurs only when you send it there.

Processing serves to handle project and support enquiries. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual steps or existing contracts, and otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest is secure, organised and traceable business communication. The mandatory form confirmation records that this notice has been read; it does not replace separate consent as a legal basis.

Appearance, language and local settings

If you select Light or Dark, this website stores only your appearance preference in local browser storage under the key “montfort-appearance”. The setting is not transmitted to Montfort Systems or used for visitor profiles. Selecting System removes the saved value and follows your device setting again. You can also remove it by clearing this website's data in your browser. If browser storage is blocked, your choice applies only to the current page.

The language is determined by the page address you choose. There is no automatic language redirect and no separately stored language preference.

Technically necessary cookies

Montfort Systems does not set its own cookies on this website. Cloudflare may use technically necessary cookies as part of enabled security features to detect and prevent automated or abusive access. Further information is provided in the Cloudflare cookie documentation.

Montfort Systems uses no analytics, marketing or tracking cookies, external advertising services or remotely loaded web fonts. No services requiring consent are therefore used on this website, and no consent banner is displayed.

Your rights

Subject to the legal requirements, your rights include access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection. Consent may be withdrawn at any time with future effect. To exercise your rights, contact the email address above.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority, Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna.

Provision of data & decisions

Technical processing of connection data is necessary to access the website. Providing data when contacting us is voluntary; without the details needed for a response, an enquiry may not be processable. No solely automated decision-making or profiling takes place.
